Camps K-12th Grade

Week long series of skill building which can introduce new junior golfers to the game and also challenge experienced players in their skill development.

All camps will be at Yorktown Golf Course in Shiloh, IL

2024 Summer Camp Information

Summer camps are designed for kids entering 1st through 12th grade. Session 1 is designed for kids entering 1st-4th grade and session 2 for kids entering 5th-12th grade. Kids will still be grouped by age at this camp. During the camp kids will hit balls on the driving range, chip, putt, receive on course instruction, and learn about golf etiquette.

Camps focus on the following...

Each camp day will span 60 minutes for 1st-4th grade and 90 minutes for 5th-12th grade. Camps will take place over 4 consecutive days and include the following areas below of focus. Each day mixes learning with fun activities to spark an interest in this lifelong game. 

On-Course

Work with instructors on course to develop course management, understand rules, and all aspects of the game.

Full Swing

Work with instructors on the driving range developing full swing skills.

Putting

Work with instructors on skill development and have some fun with putting competitions.

Chipping

Work on chipping and pitching fundamentals both on the driving range and practice green areas.

Rules

Learn about the most common rules and participate in demonstrations both in practice areas and on-course.

Etiquette

Gain an understanding on the proper golf etiquette and respect for your teammates and opponents.

Frequently asked questions...

In the event of bad weather an email will be sent to everyone and the golf course will be notified. Friday will be the makeup day if any days have to get cancelled due to weather.

We understand plans change, if you let us know 24 hours in advance we will provide a refund. Cancelling the day of or not showing up you will still be charged as we have to pay the golf course and plan our staff accordingly.
